What’s included

Wednesday, May 22, 2024 you can join me and four other photographers in a gently lead beach couples session. Photographers will learn the art of directing your subjects through poses and prompts to get a more natural result, how to keep the energy and confidence up of any couple and how to be an expert communicator to create trust with your future clients, sending them off with raving reviews. Ask questions about settings, lighting and how to create the exact style of images that you’ve always dreamed of. Have me review your images from the back of the camera, right on site, offering soft, yet constructive criticism to help you improve your portfolio and shooting experience. The session will be 3 hours with time for informal introductions, getting to know one another, two outfit changes for the couple and using different locations within Sandbanks Beach in Prince Edward County. The experience also includes behind the scenes content of you, for you to advertise and market with.

A 1:1 portfolio viewing and evaluation will be available for you to book the following weeks to get additional feedback for $99 + hst. The additional 1:1 session is not mandatory.

  • who is this for?

    Novice and intermediate photographers. You could be brand new to photography, or have been in it for 10 years but need a portfolio refresh. The experience of a photographer is constantly evolving and there is always something to learn.

    If you struggle with:
    - getting the results you want
    - communicating with and directing your subjects
    - lighting methods
    - feeling confident in creating your desired results
    - feeling awkward about creating intimacy between your couples
    - photos feeling “staged”
    - confidence in experimentation

    …then this session is for you. The intent is to create a 1:1 experience for you to be cared for while you shoot, but also giving you freedom and confidence to learn and play. If you feel like your shooting process is stagnant and you aren’t sure what the next step is in creating a closer connection for your clients, then this is absolutely for you.
